Day 1!!!

You can never start out the day badly when you are informed that you can spend up to $432 on clothing for lost luggage!!! It's still really windy here, hopefully it's passed by tomorrow! But nevertheless we still had a great day filled with family, laughter ( LOTS of LAUGHTER) and superb food! I saw my granny today, for the first time in 8 YEARS! She has changed a lot but still cute as a button! To start the adventuring off we headed out along the coast checking out all the hot beach spots and boy was the scenery to die for! Mountains, blue skies and the ocean - doesn't get better than that! If you ever go to Cape town DO NOT leave without getting some fish and chips. I will never look at any other seafood ever again, even if it cost an arm and a leg at some fancy restaurant. We ate at a little "whole in the wall" place called fish on the rocks! The food was great and the picture taking was very interesting. Since the wind is blowing at least 25 miles per hour and I weight very litte you can imagine me trying to stand on a hill and not getting swept away of the edge into the ocean!

In sea point outside our apartment!
<-- daddy standinf where he always stood outside his High school!

Next stop was to my uncle and aunts house in Hout bay, a gorgeous area! Its summer here so we took full advantage of it and caught some rays by the pool and then had a great family joke/story telling time. My unlce Deric is so silly! Its going to be a blast living with him and his wife for 2 in a half months!! I'm deciding if I want to attempt to learn how to drive, the steering wheel is on the right side of the car, and you drive on the opposite side of the road AND the cars are stick shift....so we shall see :)
 Granny with all her kids!

Mom and Daddy!

For dinner we had a braai (bar-b-Que)! I'll have to give everyone a quick run down of the south Africa slang soon, it very entertaining!
Just a little view of Cape Town for ya:

Tomorrow if the wind has died down we should be able to go do some exciting stuff like go to seal island, where you can watch the sharks jump out the water and. Catch the seals as a snack and possibly going up table mountain!!! Hope for the best!!!

As of tomorrow, our luggage should be here in the morning and if its not hurricane strength winds we should have some fun stuff planned!
